Dave and his late wife Susan began showing their first Kuvasz a little over 17 years ago. During the years spent in the show ring as owner handlers Dave and Susan finished several Kuvasz champions. During the campaigning of their bitch Edda, she received 4 F. C. I. titles as well as 2 of the 4 C.A.C.I.B. certificates needed to finish her Hungarian championship.
Dave purchased his first 35mm camera at the age of 14 years after using a Kodak instamatic for a couple of years. The following Christmas Dave’s parents gave him an Ansco developing kit, which contained chemicals, paper and a contact print maker. After seeing those first images come to life on paper, Dave was forever hooked on producing photographs.

During his high school years. Dave worked part time as a photographer’s assistant and began photographing sports for the local newspaper and weddings for friends. Dave’s photographic skills were used on a near daily basis in his career as a police officer and as an investigator with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. Dave was a crime scene investigator while he was a police officer with the City of Richardson. In the last 20 years, Dave has taken photographs of over 300 murder crime scenes. Dave likes to say that his work has hung in some of the best court rooms in Texas.
